Oregon Grow Units has developed an approved agricultural business park for indoor OLCC licensed producers and processors in the Portland Oregon area. Located 30 minutes east of Portland we have 20 private acres dedicated to this facility. We have installed all the underground power, natural gas, water, phone and fiber optics to each lot. Each Building in Phase-1 can be 3,450 to 5,170 square feet or 6330 to 9,500 square feet and can be increased further by connecting multiple buildings that can share one suite number. Each building site in Phase-1 is provided with 480V 3-phase electrical service (400A for the small buildings and 800A for the large buildings). County land use approvals have already been granted and all permits are in place. Notice: We only have a few sites still available in Phase-1. Plans and quotes for the buildings are available for you to review. The buildings can have a complete second floor installed with ZERO RENT on the second floor footage. This means you could have a 5175 sq' building and pay about $1600 per month in rent, or a 9495 sq' building and pay rent for about $3,400 per month. Please contact us for more details.
Phase-2 buildings, in 2019, will all have a 8,000 square foot footprint and will have 24' eave walls so that an entire second floor (giving you 16,000 sq' total) can be added with either steel walls and roof, or poly walls and roof and automated light deprivation systems, if desired. These can be specially designed hybrid buildings to provide the security of a steel building on the main floor with the benefits of growing with natural sunlight on the second floor. Pallet/service elevators can also be installed. These buildings will be provided with 2500A of 480V service.
State and County regulations regarding grow locations have been well defined. The new law identifies marijuana as a “crop” for "purposes of farm use", and that these crops will be grown on land designated for Exclusive Farm Use. Grow Units was planned with this in mind. Each building site has it's own address (suite number) on file with the county and listed as its own separate facility. We have been working closely with both governmental entities and understand their rules and requirements. If you have any questions about this please feel free to ask us.
We are working with Mr. Natural Superior Soil Products to supply premium soil mixes to our renters at a very affordable cost. They are currently developing soil blends specifically for cannabis cultivation. Also, we are looking for someone who would like to operate their own "mobile" testing lab to provide services for the growers at our facility. This will make it very convenient for the growers to get their products inspected and certified without having to leave the facility.
So if you are ready to get involved in this new industry and to be part of a brand new facility specifically designed for it, then here's your chance! Contact us and let us know how we can help you start up your business.
